Storm Damage in Houston
When Hurricane Harvey hit Houston at the end of August, SERVPRO quickly sprung into action to help with the recovery process. This home had extensive water damage from the floods, particularly in the hallway pictured. Our experts removed both the wet portions of the walls and the floors.
After the removal process was finished, the air movers and dehumidifiers were put in to place in order to remove all of the excess moisture from the air, the framing of the house, and the base floor. This ensured that there would be no mold growth, and that the house would be dry when the contractor came to replace the sheet rock and floors.
